Terms and conditions 

These Terms and Conditions apply to all services provided by Elegance of Earlsfield Dry Cleaners. By using our services, you agree to these terms. These terms may be updated from time to time. The version in force at the time of placing an order will apply.

A minimum charge of £20.00 applies to all orders.

Orders can be placed in person, via phone, or online. An order is confirmed once you receive an acceptance email or ticket. Ensure that all order details are correct at the time of submission. We are not responsible for customer errors.

It is the customer’s responsibility to check all garments at the time of collection before leaving the shop. We will not be held responsible for any missing, incorrect, or damaged items brought to our attention after collection.

Garments must be in a condition strong enough to withstand the dry cleaning process. We are not responsible for damage to weak, torn, or structurally compromised items. Any pre-existing issues or concerns with the garment should be pointed out at the time of drop-off.

We do not guarantee stain removal or preservation of garment colour, and we are not responsible for colour loss, shrinkage, or dye run. Items without a care label will be cleaned entirely at the customer’s risk.

We are not responsible for damage to or loss of buttons, zips, buckles, sequins, embellishments, or other decorative items. We are also not liable for items left in pockets or attached to garments, such as pens, cufflinks, coins, or jewellery. Customers are advised to empty all pockets before submitting items for cleaning.

Customers must retain their original receipt or claim ticket to collect cleaned garments. We are not responsible for releasing items without proof of collection.

Garments not collected within three months of the due date may be disposed of without further notice.

In the event of loss or damage caused by our negligence, compensation will be provided in the form of Elegance of Earlsfield Dry Cleaners vouchers only. The compensation is limited to ten times the cleaning cost (excluding VAT) up to a maximum of £50 per item, and only when a valid proof of purchase is provided showing date and value.

We do not offer cash refunds under any circumstances.

We will not be liable for any loss of profit, business interruption, or other indirect losses.

Collection and delivery times are provided in good faith but are not guaranteed. If you are not available for delivery or collection at the agreed time, a charge of £10 will apply for each additional attempt. You may nominate a third party to collect or receive delivery at your own risk. If you instruct us to leave your items in a specified location without acknowledgement, you do so entirely at your own risk.

Complaints must be reported within 24 hours of receiving your garments. We aim to respond to all complaints within 7 working days. Complaints made after 24 hours will be considered on a case-by-case basis and at our discretion.

Wash and Fold orders are washed at 30 degrees and tumble dried at medium heat. Items are not ironed. Light and dark clothing will be separated, but we are not responsible for colour transfer. Minimum chargeable weight is 6kg. Bedding and towels are not included in standard wash and fold services and will be itemised and charged separately.

We reserve the right to change our price list at any time. Current prices will be displayed in-store and on our website.
